West Chase Men's Club
We play 24 Tuesday evenings starting April 9th at 5:30. These are 9 hole events with a shotgun start. Generally, each week we make new teams of A-B-C-D players and play some type of handicapped game. We average about 70 players on Tuesday nights. We will play both sides of the course. The full schedule is posted on our website. www.westchasemensclub.com
Tuesdays are a pay-as-you-go format. When you sign in you give the league $10 and then pay your normal greens fees to the course.
Additionally, we play 12 18-hole weekend events. These events are mixed between shotgun and tee times. If we play on Saturday, we have tee times and on Sundays we shotgun.
The prize fund for the weekend events is covered by the join fee of $225. Members of West Chase Golf Club receive a $30 discount.
We require an official handicap through the BlueGolf system. Not a problem if you don’t have one, we will get you set up with BlueGolf and get a handicap approximated until you have enough scores to generate an official handicap. We also use BlueGolf to sign up for all events.
We have a wide range of player skill levels. The average handicap is around 14 but we have players that range from scratch to 40 handicaps. We try to make it fun for all.
All prizes are shop credit. An account will be created at the pro shop for each player. Once a month the league credits these accounts with the player's winnings. All earrings must be spent or merchandise ordered by Dec 31st.
We also have a point system to play in the year-end shootout event. Attendance and placing in each week's events will get you points. The top point-getters play in a shoot-out event where players are eliminated after each hole. It is a very exciting and stressful event if you get to play.
